I was told by a guild officer(Landar), and a few of your guild members(who are my friends: Donkor, Beemer, Valtrexia), that I should post my application even though you are formally not accepting more members.

Give us a bit of info about yourself - make it entertaining! British, ladies man, drives a sports car, stops villians from taking over the world.... oh wait, that's James Bond... Let's see, gaming is a huge part of my life, before I got WoW I spent those 40+ gaming hours a week playing Warcraft3 The Frozen Throne, and was heavily involved in a respectable clan, worked on special show matches between pro wc players, and was a clan leader. Hehe, anyway, this isn't about my wc clan... My interests besides gaming: Anime, philosophy, any kind of good conversation, message board debating (totally pointless) theology(some would say totally pointless  , I like observing religion and the impact it has on society). Umm.... monkeys are pretty cool...

How did you hear about Cult ?Through Donkor.
Former WoW guild history (with reasons you left your former guild) At the moment I am in The Obsidian Legion, while certain people have been rather helpful, several aspects of the guild are somewhat of a turnoff to me. IE, overnight it turned into a zerg clan (100% growth in less than 24 hours, with more joining every day). There is also constant, petty infighting among the current guild members, the high level members are somewhat inclusive and tend to isolate themselves from the lowbies, not many lowbies run instances.
Anyway in closing, thanks for taking the time to read my app. I have run several instances with Donkor and various members of your guild, and all the experiences have been pleasant and smooth. My main reasons for wanting to join your guild would be to play with my friends, who are current members, and to be a part of a active, prestigious and mature guild, who run instances no less.
